FROM V TO D & BACK AGAIN
Prune Perris & Stephanie Lamoline
From March 16th to april 26th, 2025
EXHIBITION CONCEPT
Stephanie Lamoline works on the boundary between sculpture and photography. Her work is often based on an object that she photographs. The image is deconstructed and reconstructed, moving from 2D to 3D, creating a multi-faceted portrait of the object.
Prune Perris is interested in the architectural dimension of drawing. The imprints of the past influences our perception of the present, and her work aims to highlight the interactions between memory and architecture. From ruins and fragments, she inscribes drawing into sculpture itself.
Both artists combine drawing and sculpture. Stephanie Lamoline accumulates different ways of perceiving an object, offering us a highly organic view of the different stages in the creative process. Prune Perris points to architecture in drawing and the persistence of drawing at the heart of architecture. In so doing, the artists move freely from volume to drawing, and back again.
