EXHIBITION CONCEPT

Laurent David’s practice involves drawing and installation. The artist examines the conditions under which the visible appears. He questions the notion of means through plastic operations.

The duo Sadowczyk_Cauwe is composed of artists Charlotte Sadowczyk and Antonin Corto Cauwe. Their drawing work blurs the boundary between the artist’s gesture and that of the machine. It explores relationships of power, status, and desire.

The works of Laurent David and the duo Sadowczyk_Cauwe come together to question the conditions under which the visible appears, their physical and iconographic aspects, but also the values that underlie them, their political and ethical perspectives.
