Doris Boerman’s work develops through mediums such as sculpture, installation and performance. She compares the exhibition space as a display for artworks, and the body as a mode of personal expression.

Louise Limontas is an artist working with textile. She considers that it is revealing the intimate, through the links it maintains with the body. She hybridizes different craft and industrial techniques, creating textile objects whose status and use become ambiguous.

Both artists are interested in the human body. Louise Limontas explores its relational dimension, interweaving fragments of stories and sensations experienced during encounters. Doris Boerman observes the relationship between the creation of exhibitions and the body as presentation of the self, raising questions such as the fusion of ‘high’ and ‘low’ culture.
