Through Matthias Yzebaert and Marco De Sanctis works, this exhibition considers the way an artist assimilates foreign elements to his work, turning upside down the conventional border between outside influences and intrinsic components.
What meaning arises from the work itself ? How far his creative framework imposes itself ? Or how art becomes art. The practices of the two artists presented are based on existing works or situations preceding their works. They are showing processes as well as production of objects. Their works bring to light the process that transforms an action or an object into a work of art.
